Optional location
Astra may request foreground location permission to adjust the lunar view for your perspective and show location status. The app remains usable if permission is declined. Astra has no developer-operated server that stores precise coordinates or place names.
Analytics
Astra uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate product usage. It may process a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, approximate geography derived from network information, device and operating-system information, language, app version, sessions, and basic diagnostic transport metadata. Astra records interactions such as Moon-size selection, orbiter visibility, date exploration, and telemetry-panel visibility. These events do not include names, email addresses, precise GPS coordinates, city names, or a developer-defined user ID.
Advertising and tracking
Astra has no advertising and does not use information for cross-app tracking. It does not sell personal information or share information with data brokers.
Third parties and retention
Google processes Analytics data on the developer's behalf. See Google's Privacy Policy. Analytics information is retained according to the configured Google Analytics property settings and is transmitted using standard encrypted connections.
Your choices
- Decline or revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
- Delete the app to stop future collection from that installation.
- Contact the developer with a privacy question or request.
Children
Astra is a general-audience educational utility and is not designed or marketed specifically to children under 13.
